The View win over thousands at gig

Scottish rockers The View have electrified an audience of thousands during a gig in Belfast.

The Dundee quartet were one of the leading names at this year's Tennents Vital festival in the city's Ormeau Park.

Hits including Face For The Radio and Same Jeans delighted fans at the sixth annual event.

Vocalist Kyle Falconer mesmerised the crowd with a string of high-energy renditions.

Dressed in a checked shirt and sporting a mop of long curly black hair, he kept the crowds entertained throughout the 50-minute set.

The group first came to prominence last August when Wasted Little DJs made No 15 in the UK's singles chart.

They are currently touring to promote their album Hats Off To The Buskers, which was nominated for this year's Mercury Music Award.
