The View for Glastonbury 2007?
Chumbawamba have become the first band to confirm their Glastonbury Festival slot this year.
The group, best known for their 1997 Number Two hit 'Tubthumping', play the Avalon Stage on Friday June 22.
Although many other bands are strongly rumoured to be performing, including Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian, Chumbawumba are the first to confirm their appearance.
However, Emily Eavis has told BBC Somerset that one of her favourite new bands, The View, will most likely be included on the bill.
To see more on The View and other new talent expected to make a splash in 2007, get this week's New Noise issue of NME, out now, which features the ten hottest new bands around.
