The View Show They Have Bags of Talent

SCOTS band The View are going to be let loose to DJ in a Scots designer handbag shop next week.

Kieren Webster, Kyle Falconer, Peter Reilly and Steven Morrison have notched up a reputation for their outrageous antics on and off stage. Now they are set to create even more havoc at the opening of designer store Mulberry.

The stunning new store in Glasgow will attract well known faces around town and a smattering of good old rock and rollers at the bash on August 22.

But it will be The View that will cause the most commotion. The boys have a packed tour diary at the moment, with forthcoming dates in Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands in addition to appearances at the Reading and Leeds festivals later in the month.

Their DJ stint follows a successful set at last weekend's Live at Loch Lomond Festival and will see the boys fly in fresh from their concert date in Belfast.

Mary McGowne, party organiser, said: "The View are one of the UK's hottest bands right now and it is a major coup to have them DJing on the night.
