The View have won the Shockwaves NME Award for Best Track at this year's ceremony.
The Dundee four-piece earlier tonight (March 1) performed an acoustic version of album track 'Face For The Radio' at the London Hammersmith Palais.
They were rewarded for a great year by 'Popworld' presenter Alexa Chung and last year's NME Award casualty, (who was presented a first aid kit on the night by host Laverne), Cribs star Ryan Jarman, for first hit single 'Wasted Little DJs'.
The other nominees were:
Dirty Pretty Things - 'Bang Bang You're Dead'
The Killers - 'When You Were Young'
Klaxons - 'Atlantis To Interzone'
Muse - 'Supermassive Black Hole'
Kyle, Kieren and co came up to the podium to collect the Best Track Award.
